Introducing myself in English

Hi! I am Yuki Fujii. Thank you for coming this blog.

I will introduce to you about myself, but it is the first time to write a blog in English and my English is not good. So, I may make many mistakes. If you find some mistakes, please tell me that. OK, here we go!

Profile that is easy to understand quickly

I live in Ibaraki since I was born in 1994.

I am a senior university student and study law now.

I like going to hot springs, cats, reading books, taking photos, and doing sth alone.(Ex. going to karaoke)

I have likes and dislikes in food.

(I don’t like vegetables, raw fishes(Ex. Sashimi, Sushi, etc), mushrooms and so on. I like rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes, meat, pasta, and ramen.)

While I was a baby(1994~)

One of an funny? episodes

My mother told me that I touched an heated iron while she didn’t look it when she were ironing some clothes. It was when I was two or three years old. And, surprisingly, I didn’t cry. lol

I do not remember what my mother did after that, but you know, she cooled down my hand as soon as possible.

Since I entered a kindergarten

I entered it when I was three years old. I sometimes forgot bringing something I had to do, and sometimes wanted to go to toilet in class. Also, I said to my friends that I wantedto be a patissier when I was five years old and played house with them.

I think I was a little bit stupid but cheerful girl and I enjoyed kindergarten life.

When in a primary school (2001~)

My character changed in home and in school

I got along with almost classmates when I was in the first to third grade, but I could not do that since I was fourth grade although my classmates didn’t change. In other words, almost my classmates didn’t move to other city. So, I became a quiet person, but I could answer the questions in class, and talked with teachers or my family. Moreover, my character changed when I came back home. lol Whenever I talked with family at this time, I became talkative and had a short temper.

Becoming book lover

I changed my personality like that, so I spent lunch break(=the time after eating lunch) staying at a library almost every day. Because I didn’t know what I should do during this time. I was so relaxed whenever I was in the library, because there were many students who were in the different grade.

I usually read comics of the biographies (Ex. Mother Teresa). Books taught me many things, for example, ‘Everybody is different’.

When in junior high (2007~)

Start wearing a contact lens

After graduating from primary school, I thought I wanted to change myself a little bit, so I decided to start wearing a contact lens since then. I thought I am more pretty than myself wearing glasses when I wore the lens for the first time. lol

I am very very thankful that my parents allowed me to do that.

Enjoyed first grade student’s life

I entered a public school in my hometown. At first, I could not get used to the class, but I liked drawing at that time, so I joined the art club. Through the club activity, I made friends there, luckily they were in the same class, and I finally got along with my classmates.

Also, I got my first boyfriend after summer vacation, but we had broken up before we became the second grade. lol

Was crazy into SNS

When I became the second grade, My friends and I were not in the same class. I didn’t know almost new classmates when I was in the first grade. I was so shy that I could get along with them. So, I was isolated from the class and spent lunch break reading books. It was same as primary school. Also, I was not getting along well with my seniors, also newcomers in the club, so I quitted it before summer vacation.

At this time, I was crazy into SNS, because there were many people who did not know me in the real. I often did ‘Narikiri chat (called it Naricha in common)’ there. It is playing a role on SNS, for example, you play a role in Naruto Uzumaki, ‘NARUTO’, other people do in other character, and you talk with them as if you were Naruto. I hope you understand what is ‘Naricha’. Anyway, I like it, but I didn’t do any more now. lol

Became truancy when I was in the third grade

When I became the third grade, my friends and I were in the same class again, but I was worried whether I was with them again or not, and finally was isolated as same as I was in the second grade. And, I could not keep my feelings in any longer, and I became truancy after summer vacation. In other words, I stopped going to school from September. Since then, I made a fox sleep almost every day, and bothered my parents with that. My grandfather sometimes said to me, ‘Go to school.’, but my parents respected my will and did not forced me to go there. Thank you sooooo much, my parents!!!

By the way, I was always doing SNS while I was absent from school. lol

Suffered from relationship for six years

I don’t have good memories for three years from the fourth grade of elementary school, even in junior high school students. Because the relationship did not go well as the grade went up. However, I think that this experience is important for me, because I would not be who I am now if I had not experienced it.

When in high school (2010~)

One of my teachers taught me the high school I entered

When I was in the second grade, the teacher who I have been respecting spoke highly of the school although it had been only one year since this school was established, so I was interested in it at this time. I told my parents this school, then they made an appointment immediately to visit there in private, we also joined school tour, and I thought it was good and I decided to enter there. (I am the third gradating class.)

It was so fun in the end

I could not build a relationship well from elementary school until then, so I was really full of anxiety about high school life, but I look forward to new beginnings a little.

Before the entrance ceremony, in March 2010, there was an orientation only for successful examinee, and I made some friends then, but we were not in the same class, though. lol

As soon as I entered, we, freshmen had to join an orientation camp for two nights. Thanks to this, I could talk with all my classmates. Among them, I had started to chat and had lunch with two classmates who had good chemistry.

I sometimes argued with one of my friends who got along with me since the orientation in March, and I was suffering from the relationship with a certain classmate who became friends when I was in the second grade, but at all, it was so fun and it is good memories now. lol  I wish I could go back in those days!

By the way, I got a boyfriend when I was in the first grade, but we broke up five months ago, though.

Anyway, It was so much fun in high scool days, so I almost cried. No, I cried a little after the ceremony. lol

Interested in outside Japan

I will go off the truck again.

When in the second grade, I went to Canada as school trip. This trip’s theme is ‘Cultivate sensitivity’(maybe), so one of the plans is going to see an aurora and I looked forward to it. On the other hand, I was a little anxiety because I could not speak English at this time and I wondered if I should speak English. In order to solve it, I started going to a language school about one month before going to school trip. Thanks to it, I was able to understand what the local people said when they spoke to me slowly. Sometimes I could not heard any wods. lol  I also could speak it but not fluently, I could make very easy sentences or say some words.

And, I could see the aurora slightly, the scenery was different with Japan(off course), I could talk with the people a little in English, and it was meaningful for me to going to the language school, so, I started to think that I go to a different countries (English-speaking country for the time being!).

When in a university (2013~)

Failed to enter a uni

When I was in the third grade and took the entrance exams in January and February, 2013, I failed to pass all the exams. I was upset, but I had no choice but I tried doing that next year. I thought it was important for me to have an opportunity to study continuously, so I decided to enter a nearby cram school. Although I got good scores in the entrance exam and I was in a good class, I didn’t made many efforts of studying except the class, I failed to pass the exams except one university’s one. lol
However, I was really happy that I could pass the exam even though this university was not my first choice. I did not want to try to take the exams again, so I decided to enter this one.

Became a university student

Focus on extracurricular activities

At first, I was dissatisfied a little somehow although I entered the university with a compromise, but I met many freshmen at a freshman’s orientation camp and joined a committee. And then, I had a good time again and again. Now, I think that it is good for me to enter my university.

I joined the Public Relations Bureau and the graduation album committee. Both committees have common activity. This is taking pictures of every events in the university. I thought that it was perfect for me, because I like taking photos. And, I participated in almost events to take photos as a committee member. Incidentally, the public relations bureau is unrelated to the public relations section of my university. Also, the public relations bureau has other activities, but I omit it here.

I worked as a tutor for one year and worked for a spa as a cleaning staff for a year and a half. Also, I was interested in volunteering, so I participated in an organization that support elementary and junior high school students' studying in Toshima area, Tokyo, I also paticipated in a program of a company, offering an active learning program to junior high school, as a staff, I joined a meeting that other university students gathered and chatted, and I worked as one of staffs of open day in my university. Anyway, I did various things! haha

Everything is good experiences and memories.

I went overseas some times

I have been to 6 spots in 5 countries to study abroad (except high school trip), but in very short-term.

As follows:
・When in a freshman, I went to Cairns, Australia for a week in August and went to Frankfurt, Germany for two weeks in March (after this, did sightseeing in Switzerland and Liechtenstein for a couple of days).
・When in a junior, I went to Cebu, Philippines for two weeks in August and went to Sydney, Australia for three weeks in March.

By the way, I went to Germany because I learned this one as a second foreign language and wanted to use it actually. Also, I like Germany. (* I can not answer why I like Germany, because I only like it sensually, but when I went there, the curry burst that I ate in a food court of a supermarket was delicious, so I would like to go there again.)

What I do now

I tried job hunting in mid-June, but I quitted doing it at the end of July. Because I thought that it was okay not to decide in a hurry and my mind was tired. Actually I did not mean to do job hunting, because I would go on a working holiday for half a year since September this year. To be more accurate, I am in New Zealand on a working holiday now! yeah!

Also, I joined to Yuko Fujisawa's overseas freelance training school (online salon). Originally I was interested in how to live as a freelancer, but now I would like to be a freelancer. Even if it is a thorny road, I will push my way. I want to take care of myself and hear my inner voice. It means intuition.

By the way, what I want to do as a freelance is writers, web designers, information curators (mainly for travel and study abroad).

At this stage, I just have this ideas, but as I spend my days, what I want to do may change or may not change. So, I will write it here just in case.

I hope I grow my personality more and more in my future. I can do it!

Alright! Although it was so long, thank you so much for reading this blog. If you have some questions to me, I will answer it as far as I can do.

Thank you again! Bye!
